The Strubly Browns

To them it is the way of things. Eight ancient and uncouth little figures stand as forgotten night wardens of an old farm, awakened by moonlight, compelled to sleep when touched by sunlight. But one night they meet an old traveler who tells of Glimmy Town, a hidden place in the faraway mountains created by others of their kind.

When a brew of heroic potency frees them of their bonds, the eight set forth on a journey to find the fabled town. Along the way, they meet other vagabonds like themselves. But the world of the big folk is perilous and so too are the wild places where eldritch dangers roam and lurk—toothy abominations of the deep dark deeps, blizzard-borne wind-yagos, wicked birds of low character, and sirenic swamp logs. Somewhere ahead is the mountain sanctuary where they will be safe at last.
